That's coming from my engine bay on cold startups lol. A little info, power steering pump is on its way out. It leaks so I keep refilling it when it gets low. After a while it goes away but today I noticed it make the noise while it was warm and when I made a left turn. It's really loud on the drivers side wheel. I noticed that when I bent down to grab my keys that had fallen down by the right wheel. (can't say it's louder than the passengers side because I didn't get a chance to check it out.)

I cycled through the gears and no sound in neutral or park but a slight noise that goes away in a few secs BUT noise was constant when it put the car in 1st.

Trans has less that 20,000 miles on it after fresh rebuild and warranty is expired of course.

I also noticed that my supercharger pulley looked a but wobbly while spinning so either it's not on right or snug or maybe a pulley is going out?

Could it be my ac compressor? Lately I noticed that my air doesn't work when I turn it on (hoping it needs freon).

    Thanks in advance guys.

Any ideas? Anyone? I confirmed that its coming from the drivers side. What else is over there besides the trans?

Being on the drivers side seems strange, aside from some internal trans parts, most of the moving parts that could cause a whine would be on passenger side. Did you check trans fluid?

Yes I checked it and it seemed normal. Pink and at the max operating line on the dipstick. Should I try to check it again?

Being this was the same situation with my gtp i can attest to this.. For me it was the by the axle and rack and pinion that made the whine because of a leak that leak can be anywhere you might want to put it in the air and find the location where it is most making that whine sound at because changing the fluid every 5 days just gets annoying best of luck bruh

Damn. Well atleast it's not the trans lls. I will take it to the shop to get it looked at. I mean it goes away when it warms up but I'm guessing its a matter of time before its a every day thing.

Can you take video of "whine"? Does it vary with rpm?

No the whine doesn't get louder with acceleration. It actually goes away after awhile. I can get a vid up in a few

Did adding fluid eliminate the sound?

nope the cooler lines were hooked up backwards causing the fluid to not flow well so the pump started to whine

None. That trans has been in the car for 20,000 miles.
