Hi i found a 2000 gs motor. Ive been looking for an l67 for a performance rebuild for my car. Would the work with my non-hd tanny? If i got the hd diff conversion from zzp? I also have the regal harness and pcm

yes the trans will work, but being your car is n/a and your going to put a sc'ed engine in it you will need to have your cars pcm tuned.

the regal pcm wont work on a gp

It'll work fine with your non hd trans. You would need a tune though.

pretty sure you need to hack up the regal harness for the map and injectors.

ive yet to do it myself, but those parts are needed,(map and evap, and boost solenoid so they need to be wired in. the injectors you can cut and solder them on if need be.

What hasn't been mentioned is that your flex plate and torque converter won't line up. Two different bolt pattern sizes.

    NA 245
    SC 258

I would suggest as the easiest thing is to get an L32 (aka new L67) flex that is dual drilled and use that. There is a slight balance difference from L67 to L36. Although.. for the last 8k miles my L26 has been wearing an L67 flex w/o issue
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Oh i never thought of that. So the l67 flex plate and tourque converter wont work with the l36 tranny. Im probably just gonna pull a full l67 GTP drive train from the junk yard instead of mixing and matching anh hoping everything works

as you know your tuner friend will have to tune the trans in as well then.

also make sure the trans cooler lines match, or take them as well, year to year they dont fit the tranny fittings.

and the newer trans have a eternal shift deal, where older models have in externally, so you have to swap that if its a newer trans you find. theres a how too, looks pretty simple if you need to do it.
