Yeah, the stuff on the front skid plate sure looks like coolant. Its orange ? I can check to make sure.

And I'm definitely loosing some, I had to put in a couple inches worth in the reservoir when i just filled it like 3 weeks ago.

Maybe rear valve cover belching out oil? Take a sample of the fluid & throw it in a glass of water.

If the end tanks are leaking or the hose has a split or the overflow is busted at the end tank, coolant can drip down & sit on the skid plate until you start throwing these pigs into a few corners at which time the coolant flies off the skid plate and mother nature sucks it back. Might be a slim possibility but I have experienced it when my overflow hose leaked & all the air being thrown around from the pulleys & belt was spraying **** all over the place. If the coolant he sees is localized to only the power steering pump area then I would retract my suggestion unless he has two simultaneous leaks?
When you say "end tank" what do you mean?

I've checked the elbows, coolant reservoir, heater hoses, radiator, overflow pipe to reservoir, water pump (behind the pulley etc) Upper and lower radiator hose appear to be fine

IDK where else to look. Its not in the oil, its not burning it. I only found coolant on the power steering pump (saw it from under neath the car) and coolant on the front skid plate.

Just filled the reservoir up a couple inches. I'll see how long it takes for it to go down again and report back. Or if I finally figure out where its leaking from.

end tanks are just that. the sides of the rad, they are plastic, one side houses the trans cooler, the other side in some cars can be a oil cooler.

they can crack and leak to the lower cross member area under the rad. sometimes they wont leak till the cars all warmed up too.

you should just go do a free rental deal and pick up a pressure tester, it pumps air into the rad, and has a gauge on it, so you can see if it looses pressure, if its loosing pressure, its also forcing it to leak out somewhere.

Just had my 2000 gtp in the shop for coolant leak, they told me it is the heater valve and needs replaced. Now I am going to try to find out where it's located and see if I can change it myself...

that would be cool if we had a heater valve on these cars. the heater core flows coolant year round. heat on or off.

maybe they meant the coolant elbows.

A guy at work has a pressure test so hopefully I can test the pressure of the radiator this week and see if that is where the leak is.

That really makes me wonder, I will be paying them a visit to find out what they meant by heater valve since your right there isnt one on this car. I just need to find this small leak and not sure what they would get confused on it....Thanks for the heads up....

I just replaced my Water pump and elbows (aluminum dorman ones). Hopefully this fixes my problem because I can't find a leak anywhere else.

Not sure if all of the white crusty stuff on the WP was burnt coolant. The bottom weep hole did look like it had been leaking (sorta?).

I replaced my elbows while I was in there with those aluminum ones. I was meticulous about cleaning the **** out of everything so that there were no leaks (hopefully). The back elbow, did look like it had a slight leak and the front elbow either broke when I was pulling it out or it had a big ass crack in it (intake end).

Other then a little bit of coolant still dripping from getting everywhere it should be good now, or at least I hope so ! I will be completely blown away if this mystery leak hasn't been solved.
