So I've always wanted to mod my gtp and i have some money to get started. I'm going to post what I'm getting but I'm not sure if I'm going to be too restrictive on my exhaust. id really prefer to not get headers and I'm on a tight budget

    custom make fwi
    aeroforce scan gauge
    autolite 104s
    180 tstat
    3.5 pulley
    electric cutout

I'd have the cutout open most of the time, and i know its not very grand prix traditional from what I've seen on the forums but id really like to save some money in the exhaust department, and i think that would really help for the flow, but id like to hear everyone's opinions on it.

    thanks in advance!

I am saying you HAVE to do something with that exhaust.... I dont think a cutout will help you that much...

Headers are fairly cheap. Be with a DP the size gets bigger (2.5" to 3") and a PLOG helps free up exhaust as compaired to the stock manis... A cutout is after all that mess...

A cut out will not help you, the front manifold and and the Ubend after the cat if you don't put headers on the car you will blow it with a 3.5" pulley the plot and dp is only if you want to run stock boost levels

Forget the cutout. Go with headers they're $200 and worth every penny and they'll get rid of the ubend 96-03 come with from the factory.

so if i did headers and dp wouldnt i have to do a full exhaust or just a reducer down to stock exahust, cuz im really not wanting to spend 500 bucks for the exhaust
