Before I begin, I have a request: let me know if this is the wrong place for this thread and where to put it (if you know). Thanks.
I took my car in to see how bad the leak in my A/C hoses were and the guy did his vacuum test etc. Found out that a seal inside of the A/C motor was bad and he suggested I buy a new A/C motor completely (trying not to get aftermarket). He also said that getting one from the salvage yard is a bad idea because it might also be bad or won't have much "time" left. He says that the seal breaks because of a flawed design when the thing was made (but that could go for anything that breaks, right?) Should I go for an OEM replacement that has the "flawed design" or should I go aftermarket anyway? It's a '00 GT. Thanks, all.
