No never heard of it but i suppose it might work. Imo i would just go to the bone yard an get one an do it the right way. Shouldn't be that expensive and it will look alot better and that way you wont have to custom fab mounts and your tank itself. If you want a brand new tank its gonna cost you around 40 from pfyc, intense, or somewhere like that. You may even be able to just have your local autostore get you one. You will also need the white lower fastener that the bottom of the tank sits on if its not already on your car i'm not sure.
