That writeup is only if you are keeping both the 3 button and 5 button installed? Im looking to buy the whole package - 5 button DIC, bezel, temp sensor, and hopefully compass.

I dont understand the wire cutting part - if I buy a 5 button DIC cant I just plug it in where my 3 button DIC is today or does it require the wire harness????
