K&N is lame? Lol that's a new one to me. Especially from a comparison to spectre. Isn't spectre the company that had the center plastic piece come off and go into ppls intake??

For the money you can't beat a Spectre.

Plain and simple.

I've just never been a fan of the over oiled K&N's...especially when you pull them out of the box and they turn your hand red. It's a good time.
