Back story: I had the innovate MTX-L wideband with a Bosch sensor. It died on me after three months. Long story short: Innovate would not email me back or contact me so I contacted Amazon Customer Service. The issued me a full refund for the unit. (Where I bought it)
Now im stuck between a rock and a hard place. I need a wideband, but have no idea which one to buy. I am looking to spend around 199 for it if possible. Which one do you guys run/recommend. I am running E85 if it matters.

Surprising you had issues with the Innovate. Those are typically pretty bulletproof. I've seen a bunch of people run that, the AEM, PLX, etc. I personally run the Aeroforce wideband. It works great, and I didn't need a separate gauge. As far as its accuracy, I haven't read anything that suggests otherwise that it is dreadfully inaccurate...it seems to be reading pretty spot on. Then again, I've only put 12 miles on the car since the build due to clutch/trans issues.

I've got the AEM. It works great and was reading spot on when on the dyno.

I am not sure. Coldest weather it has seen so far is 30. I doubt it would have an issue though.

I have an AEM unit as well. I have put 30,000 miles on it in the last 2 years or so and it still works as well as when I got it new.

AEM has the best reputation by far. Cost definitely justifies the capability of the device. Not being able to buy a proper wideband is what made me put a halt on the installation of a turbo kit, need to be able to accurately see what's going on inside the engine.
@Matt: Why is the AEM a bad choice? I thought you referred that to me? Everyone says the AEM UEGO is solid...

AEM here as well and it hasn't given me any hiccups, super easy to install.
I did have an Innovative LC1 and I could never get that thing to work. From what I remember reading while trying to troubleshoot they're even picky on the power sources and grounds.

@Matt I want a gauge not a box. From the reviews I have read the AEM UEGO is a very good gauge.
And does anyone know where AjL227 got his tensioner? I havent ever seen one like that and am curious...

Here is what you are not understanding. The AEM is crap and always will be crap for getting pretty much TRUE spot on numbers.
It can be close but its always off compared to the AFX. The AEM gauge works, but just know its not as accurate.

If you could recalibrate the controller to the aging sensor, and someone had verified the off stoich accuracy, then yes, it would be.

Dont get me wrong. I would love the AFX, only issue is its not a gauge...

But it does have an analog output so you can attach it to a gauge. Plx makes a gauge or if you have an aeroforce you can hook it up to that and keep the box in the glove box
