Little update here:
I spent about 3 hours wrenching on the car last night. I got the donor car tore down and the only thing left to pull the motor are the Exhaust bolts, TC Bolts, and Bell housing bolts. I'm hoping to pull it out this evening.
One thing I noticed on my new motor is that the LIM Gaskets look brand new! The heads and LIM are dirty / greasy, however the gaskets are CLEAN dry aluminum. I would guess that the previous owner had them changed just before the car was wrecked.
I also got a line on (ANOTHER) 2004 GTP CompG that needs a Trans (Which I happen to have spare) locally for $2000. I may pick that up to flip once I get this thing on the road.
