    Hey guys looking for some help with this annoying problem, but im having some steering issues. Now usually i dont get this problem at all except on a rainy day.
    Otherwise car runs great. Onto the issue: so usually on a rainy day after the car has been sitting in my driveway for a good few hours and i hop in to drive somewhere within the first 5 minutes of me leaving my neighborhood and onto the main road the steering wheel gets real stiff, doesnt matter if its a right or left turn and i hear a very loud shriek if i try to force it to turn. Also id like to add that yesterday i noticed that while it was doing that i got an alert display saying Charge system failure. Now the steering problem has happened 3-4 times and the charge system failure message only once (yesterday being the first time) and it has rained about 10 times since the first occurrence.

    My first guess is the power steering pump or low fluid levels i tried to look for the reservoir but i cant find it and i also dont know how to get to it.

    An help on this is appreciated, thanks.

    Ok so i found the power steering cap and reservoir, i couldnt see it the first time because it is black and full of black stuff so the symbol is covered and it is very well blended in. Either way fluid level seem good its very close to the top of the reservoir and at te appropiate line on the cap stick.

    sounds like its time for new p/s pump, even tho its full of fluid, they still just die.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    any parts store, and about 70 bucks. you will also need a power steering pulley puller to remove the pulley off your pump, then reinstall it on the new pump.
