Been awhile since I've been on fellas but I'm needing some help. Any help on how to swap out the power steering pressure hose would be great. Even a link to another thread if ya got one. It's looonnng over due and since the wife just got another new car figure better give this one a little love. Would deffinetly take any pointers looks like the subframe has gotta drop but how far what to watch out for when doing it ect. I only have a jack no lift so it will be fun. Hopefully there's a ok writeup as this is common I hear. Ok thanks as usual

the only real way to get to the lines from the rack is from under the car d/s and you need a 18mm line wrench is best, not needed.

and the one line end is hose clamped onto the pump the other is a bolted line to the pump, the lines themselves are just clipped into place, they pop right out.

Ok so let me get this right. 18mm on driver side of rack no need to drop subframe (I got girly hands)and here's where I need to clear it up with you where it connects to the power steering pump I can get to that by taking off the passenger tire and it's not a nut? I though it was on the power steering pump with a 15 or 16 mm nut? Also how long this job take you? Thanks as usuall

at one time i changed the pump, then later i did the rack.

pump, one line is a hose clamp, the other is a 13 mm or so, and yes pass side tire off and you can get to both lines at the pump.

the rack side im pretty sure you dont need to drop the sub frame. but if its tight its easy to drop it a bit. the frame bolts are 18 mm as well. as the line bolts to the rack.

its not the worst job to do.

i did mine took 4 hours from start to finish, like car on the ground and tools cleaned and put away done.

and i did it alone for 99% of the job, had a friend wiggle the steering wheel to get the shaft back on the rack.

i also backed up on a set of ramps, then jacked the front up and used jack stand for the front, you get a few more inches of room that way. for you and the next 3 hours or so.

i had no love for my stock wheels. and they leaked, the sts wheels work for me at this point, price was right, and they hold air.

post some pics when you get yours bolted on. i don't think i've seen them on a regal yet.

I got them on right now. Been on for about a week. Rocking some snow tires but better than my stockers that where leaking and tires dry rotted and wasnt about to chance buying new tires that would leak anyway. Im going to doing a just plain silver on them. Got a hell of a deal on them

man i love green. both my new trucks were green.

they look pretty good. i agree about the lip as well.

no window tint yet? that would make it all pop a bit more.

and the spoiler fixes up the ass of these car, its lacking if i do say so myself.

Oh I tried to tint it I had a shop do it 3 times but kept screwing it up till I finally snapped had them rip it off at 1 in the morning when they still wernt done the 3rd time. I bought all the "tools" to do it myself but just no time work 3 yearold... WIFE lol. I will hopfully give tinting a shot myself but as for now I went through hell trying to get it tinted so I gave up on that. I need to clean up the headlights clear the corner and rock that look for a bit but tints are a HIGH priority when I have the nerve for it again. I like them best deal I could find and I needed new wheels fast I was adding air 3 times a day in one tire
