You will need to block off the rear manifold as Cam showed, and also the Intake manifold. If you dont, you will have a major vac leak. But, it is worth it to delete the EGR. I had to reinstall my egr to pass inspection, and in the 4 days I had the EGR connected, my throttle body got dirty as shÃ*t. This is my throttle body after 6 years of no EGR and no cleaning:
