i didnt think about a block off plate, didnt know you could do that, but i think your flow would be pretty turbulent if you just blocked that **** off? and id get a powerstroke turbo, cummins are actually a smaller engine. and smaller turbo, plus the turbo lag would be really ****ty on a huge turbo, hence why i think twin charging would work out better especially if you have a big ass turbo, blower for low rpms till your throwing out enough back pressure to spool it up
