    My car is not supercharged but it will be. Im looking to get a cam that will work with a car thats a daily driver.. Any Suggestions?

    $800 DIY cost, 1200+ DIFM, its not worth it.

    Top swap and make the same power or save up for a Z3 kit and make more power than both.

    ZZP GT1 would be nice daily cam, GT2 sounds awesome though.

    XP cam or s1x can be daily driven, if you top swap.

    GT1 if your staying N/A, but i honestly dont think its worth it.

    Blue Nick DD his grand prix with an XP for 40k miles i believe.

    Man, I can't read, thanks.

    XP means 40K mile timing chain/dampener life. After that it needs to be freshened up. Probably the valve springs as well.

    VS is the ideal supercharged daily cam.

    I thought i heard the VS was hard(er) to tune or something than the XP?

    But hell, i dont know much.

    Edit: Im wrong on that, i was thinking NIC cam.

    Vs is The least mild cam..can be ran on stock valvetrains.
    Xp/S1X require...upgraded valve springs/chain/tensioner etc

    you decide.

    xp s1x need upgraded valve springs. stock chain and tensioner.

    I S1X'd for 50K then put 130#'s on and drove about another 5-10 or so.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    If you're putting any cam in, you should put a new timing chain/tensioner in as well as new valve springs.
