VID_20120804_152028.mp4 video by beelzeboul - Photobucket

this is the second attempt I'm assuming it was coolant it spit out but I could be wrong

initial start blew gas towards my air filter and pcm after that each prime lets out a hiss after doing so and leaks gas to the groud trying to trace gas leak as a possible culprit but it doesnt seem to be coming from a mis lodged injector

the supercharger was just replaced and an air intake installed

the fuel rails themselves were pretty dry compared to what shot over my front driver wheel well after taking them back off and all appeared to be properly seeded

First find the gas leak and fix it before you try to start it anymore. Second you could have a big vacuum leak keeping it from starting it kinda sounded like a backfire in the video.

have to check it out in the morning when I get a chance to try to spot where exactly the leak is coming from . One thing is I have a sc off a 97 on a 98 and did not attach the vacuum tree that kinda stands up near the throttle body end is this going to cause errors or it should run fine with it being rigged up the way my old one was?

negative I didn't think there was a whole at the bottom . figured it was just a mount hole like for the fuel rail bolt on top
I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

That's probably why it won't start. Plug it and it'll probably start up.

You could jb weld it i guess if you wanted to. There is 3 things on the tree right? You could loop them off no problems i'm sure.

Throw the tree on and just cap off the ports. No need to loop it.

That'll work and look a lot better^^^ To just see if it'll start put some masking tape over that hole and see if it'll start.

Just put it in and cap the ports. Is there an o-ring on it to seal it inside the charger?

ok muchos gracias ill letcha know how shes doing in the morning after I trace that gas leak. there is'nt anyway the cylinders could have become flooded and shot gas out because of a messed up afr or sumptin? what I mean is if Im leaking gas its gotta be one of my gas lines and not this lil bugger cause I'm still kinda stupified as where its coming from its running down from the bottom of my throttle body but there isnt any gas on supercharger or rails on top of engine just spatter near wheel well under the air intake and a puddle maybe 1 cups worth on the ground and thats after about four start attempts only the first projectiled it the rest would prime hiss and than start for a second and choke itself out spilling a few drops after each attempt but would finish dripping in under 10-15 seconds
I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

Have someone prime the system while you look under the hood for the gas leak. Wear goggles because gas in the eye hurts like ****.

so your saying fuel came out of the TB?

any chance your plug wires are all messed up, because unless the vac tree has something to do with it, the motor would have to spin backwards to cough up gas.

well its not coming out of the TB but directly below it cause I have no gas on top or above the TB and not on passenger side only on driver side I didn't check the plugs but it seems like there is only one way to wire them the pigtails are rather short so doing one side to the other or vice versa would be close to impossible just given the lengths I will have to check and make sure though
I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

I just looped maybe an inch and a half of vaccum line I had laying around to each end of it havn't tried starting it yet as I took the fuel rail off to examine injectors. Should I have installed injectors first and than attached fuel rail ? cause I had replaced o rings mounted them in fuel rail got the rail on bolts and took the rubber handle of a hammer and pushed down on the injectors before toquing the mounting bolts down
I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

ok so here goes an update the evil crank on a chalkboard noise is completely dissipated after vaccum tree with line was installed . video shows what I did with hose and than I tried to get it under the TB where the gas is dripping from .

VID_20120804_194347.mp4 video by beelzeboul - Photobucket

I had injectors completely off in a bucket to see if any leaked apon priming of car....none did nor did the rail or anything I could see after several priming trying to find where the gas was leaking from and after looking under the car it looked as if none had been dripping apon this start though gas leak started back up running right down where I tuck my phone in video like my rear driverside cylinder is spitting it out but nothing really noticeable I can just see it collect and run down under TB to the subframe to the ground also definately has a backfire after trying to start now it doesnt die at all just sits and chugs like in the video usually followed by a backfire

also thought I may have kinked a fuel line so went back through all of the fuel lines and there isn't any kinks

plan on taking rail back off tommorow and trying to turn it over to make sure they all shoot gas properly but even than I'm still kinda puzzled by where the leak could be coming from I wish I could just light the gas and follow it to the source :P
