I get a gas smell from my engine compartment but only when the engine is cold. What could cause this? The car seems to run fine. I am going to have it checked out. Also, does anyone know where I can get those flimsy blabk trim pieces that run along the top of the inner door panels. I have a 2000 GT. Thanks

Check the O-rings inside of the fuel lines connecting to the fuel rails, I had a leak there on my 97 GT.

As for the crappy door panel trim, the Junk Yard is your best bet or check the for sale section for some better door panels.

Pull the loom off the fuel lines. Turn the key to on, but not start and look for any pinhole leaks.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
