Love the forums, glad i found it when i did.
Been a big help ever since. So maybe you guys can help me out with this.

I own a 97 GP SE 4dr, rear strut towers are completely blown out.
I found another 97 GP GT 2dr, everything seems ok.
I mean for 600 its not to bad.

Its missing a couple things interior wise and i was just curious if there
was/ is anybody out there that has made this same kind of switch over.

What can i take out of my 4dr and put in the 2dr?
Anything helps, window switches, seats, etc. etc.

Like i said, any information would be helpful.

Here is a small list of what im taking off mine to put on it, feel free to add something im missing.
    -front & rear rotors
    -possibly brakes(f&r)
    -wheels & tires
    -fuel pump
    -radiator
    -?????

Like i said, any help would be great.

Everything should swap over minus the door panels and window regulators. I'd leave the catfish front end and keep the GT front. Same for the rear.

Never tried swapping the entire dash. From doing heater cores on Ford's I can't say it would be much more fun to do it on a GP, lol... Just a PITA no matter what the car I would think.

haha, my se is going to be my parts car.
sucks though because i only have about a day to do it.
but i appreciate the help with parts, if i need something after i send mine to the scarpyard ill PM you.

would that involve removing the airbag, or can i leave that in place and still swap dashes?
thats mostly my main concern. dont want to get punched in the face while trying to unbolt and remove it haha.
i have a temper problem and id probably go haywire on parts of the car. andi wouldnt want tht.

If you manage to detonate the airbag I don't think beating up the car will be your first thought, lol...

Disconnect the battery cables and let it sit for a bit. I think if you press on the brake pedal it will bleed off any residual power in the system. I think 10 min. does it for the airbag system but double check just in case. And IIRC the pass. airbag is bolted to the dash frame, so it would have to come out as well, or at least be disconnected from the electrical harness.
