Yes I get a click. After it's all the way in, I have to pull with everything I have to get it removed (and it pops out rather than slides).

Here is a picture of it installed - see how far away the cup is from the seal? Is this normal? I'm beginning to wonder if the axle I got (reman from Checker) is the right one.
