well idk if ne body remembers but i put a post up like a month ago about my new headers and exhaust that i bought.... when i first foundm this forum i had no idea what i was doing wit my car and i didnt know nehting..not that much has changed lol but i purchased a 3inch dp wich has a bolt in part at one end and a weld at the other.......... i also bought a ubend delete with the same situation bolt in on one end and weld on the other....... now i bought the s&s headers and a 3inch catback exhaust system from zzp.......... im going to have a exhaust place install it for me because i do not have the experience or the tools to even try.......my question is to connect my 3 inch exhuast to the headers i think thurr is going to be a problem because the end of the header opening is i guess a 2.5" opening wich goes inside my 3" dp opening......idk if that is good or if that can be welded like that...also my other question is does it matter wich way the dp goes because if they can turn it w/e way they want then the bolt in parts for the ubend delete and the dp will match up good but if not then i will have a 3" pipe going to a 3" pipe with out a bigger opening to slide into so could they weld that toghether??? i know i sound stupid and this post is long and annoying but ne help would be apprciated

Your S&S headers already come with a downpipe and I'm pretty sure it will bolt right up to your new catback without modification. If you have both the catback and headers already why not just try and test fit them off the car.

Don't know why you bought a 3in downpipe and a u-bend delete also as these are useless since you have headers.

Okay, moved this to the right section and I hate to do this, and Im not picking on any one person, but I must point out the purpose of the Tech TIPS, emphasis on TIPS

Tech Tips forums at the Grand Prix Forums (Grandprixforums.net). post your shortcut ideas, things that make a job easier.

Ive had to move a butt load of threads today and it would really help if everyone would look closely at where they are posting and make double sure its in the right or best area.
