Hey just trying to get some opinions on this. My motor looks noticeably twisted in the engine bay, like my dog bones aren't straight at all or anything. It looks like some one grabbed my engine and twisted the driverside forward and passenger side back and I do get a clunk when I shift into drive or reverse. So does this mean my craddle is hella twisted or motor mounts or what do you think? I talked to a shop and they said mounts but I dont always trust them guys. I have solid trans/engine mount and both Polly dogbones but I haven't installed them yet. Just tryin to get some other opinions because i was thinkin cradle at first but they said mounts n needless to say im a lil cornfused. All opinions welcome thankx

change your motor and trans mounts, the ones under the engine. they be shot.

    i had the same problem.

mine looked like this, and you can see why the engine is twisted a bit.

thats what happens when you have a nasty valve cover leak, it runs to the mount, and eats it alive lol

this is the rest of it.

Good thing to know I jus replaced the valve covers because they was leaking like flipin crazy all over the place.. So jus replace the mount and all should go back to normal or can the motor actually be shifted with the mount bolts loose? Also do yall know anything about the zzp solid trans mount cuz I have one here now and idk it just seems weak to me. I can squeeze it and move it around a lil with my hands is this normal? I only ask because the other mount I got from napa is solid as crap

yeah the new mounts will make the engine sit straight again.

never used zzp anything. i'd use the one that feels the firmest.

Funny, I just so happen to come across this thread and realized that I have somewhat of the same issue.. Just the another day i was looking into my engine bay and noticed that my motor is a lil off angle also. all my mounts are new but my two dog bone mounts are definately not parallel with each other.

Cradle mounts are new and torqued to 118lbs so im not really sure whats causing the motor to be off center like that. Crazy, i didnt know this was a common problem
Not your average grocery getter, but theres always at least two things on the list.... 10w-30 Castrol Titanium and Shell 91 premium mixed with a lil 100 octane racing gas......
