So tightening my battery terminal my hand slipped and arced the batter against the unibody with the wrench, my radio came on for about 5 seconds after that happened . Wtf would cause that? Everything electrical is working fine.... that I am aware of.

This is what I thought. I was a bit concerned when Metallica started playing.

So if I'm right, your negative batt cable was already connected, then as you were connecting the positive, you shorted the battery to the body?

Probably scrambled the electronics a bit, but I don't think there is damage to them.

I would wonder if the battery was harmed. Dang, you must have almost welded the wrench to the terminal.

I suppose that if the car was charged positive and the stars were aligned the radio could turn on; however, very unlikely.. Id go with the spirit thing... lol

I don't have the factory terminal on the car as I had to upgrade to supply power to my two amps and aftermarket alarm/rs. I was using vice grips and a wrench, the vice grips popped off causing the wrench to spin freely so the vice grips and the wrench grounded the car at the same time.
