I was thinking that the lights on my 98 were way too dim and I was not happy at all driving it at night for that reason. I read all the posts about HID upgrades and decided I'm too old to waste my time and money on project like that.
A trip to Advance for some plain old Sylvania Xtravision's and 5 minutes with my rotary buffer and Meguiars Scratch X and the headlights look like new, and they perform exactly the way I want them to.

I had to wet sand mine back to clear, 13 yrs of hot sun baking them made them "frosted" instead of clear. A couple hours wet sanding and polishing and they were like new lens'.

Glad it worked out easy for you.
