I have found my self adding coolant a lot thi past week and still becoming hot. Today I investigated. This black 90° elbow is squirting out coolent.

It feels metal and attached to the engine under the supercharger snout and connects to I think the water pump. What is the piece called and what do I need to do to repair it?

Pic doesn't work but it's probably the coolant elbow that connects from the lim to the alt bracket.

Do a search for coolant elbow here on the forums, you'll find a "how to" to replace them. They are around $5 at auto stores

Thank u guys so much!!! I was thinking it might be apart of the water pump and may need a new one... Is it a metal or rubber piece?

Not sure on your year car but would be 2 plastic elbows or 1 plastic and 1 metal cast as part of the bracket.

Ok well I replaced the elbows but now I think I found a much bigger problem... I refilled the coolant and warmed up the car, then started seeing bubble coming from under the supercharger...

Its puddling just above the oil filler and below the supercharger. Is this a blown head?

So maybe not a head gasket? Is this hard to fix?

the only way to fix it is to take the s/c off and then the lim, install new gaskets and thread sealant on the lim bolts when re installing.

chances are you head gasket is fine.

google search for lifter in 33 minutes, its a vid of the job, you just dont have to take the rockers and lifters out, and there are write ups here too. its not all that hard.

You shouldn't need a head gasket. The HG is about 4 inches from your bubbling. That's classic LIM gasket area.

Ya make sure, first time, I almost went to get a pry bar when I realized that 1 bolt was gunked up so bad I didn't see it, my friend did.

Last thing you want is a broken LIM
