Both blinker lights on dash are on, as well as the high beam one. They won't turn off and I have no blinkers and the lights won't turn on by using the dial. Any ideas?

edit: changed thread title. Replaced the ignition switch and harness with a new GM one and it fixed my issue, however, Tuesday it happened again. Blower motor resistor?

being that the fluid loss jokes are out of the way. lol

could be the multi switch aka the stick you move to turn the blinkers on. or the ignition harness.

The flashers don't do anything until I pull the key out. The same thing happened about a month ago, but it clicked off after about two minutes and never came back.

that is bizarre. I remeber something like that happening back when i was a GM mechanic..... i think it was actually the flasher.... but brain farts prevent me from actually remembering LOL. Go to a jy and snatch a flasher module hahha

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but this happened again. Must be a short somewhere further down the line?

Ever figure out if anything was actually damaged on the old harness? Maybe its further down the line but you jiggled it enough to make it work when you replaced the harness? I would personally guess the turn signal / brights switch.
