    most people on here run a HAI, but not me everyone is gonna tell you to make your own to save money and thats true you will save money however i run an SLP CAI (i know it heats up through the s/c...) but whatever im happy with my CAI i mainly got it so i have a functional ram air

    Get rid of that 97-98 coolant resrvoir. Most of the "cold air" comes in from the headlight and that thing competely blocks it.

    97 gtp, cone filter mod, downpipe and glasspack to stock muffler mod, 180* t-stat mod, bad driver mod

    Put it on the strut tower like in the '99+ cars.

    90% of everyone here has the PCM exposed, its fine. When I wash my engine bay the only thing I cover is my filter (saved Wal-Mart bags work well lol). Do like I did, just get some single sided thick foam tape (insulation for door frames works well too), line the area where the stock intake box sat, place PCM there. It will hold, no vibrations, no worries.

    However. If your so anal that you HAVE to have it protected, buy this and problem solved. Its costly and a waste of time and more restrictive than helpful, but works and flows slightly better than stock.

    did u make the intake or did u buy it. Is it a 22.5 elbo from lowes with the mas attached using a coupler
