i have seen ebay sellers selling used tire pressure monitoring sensors but there 2 different types of part numbers they always show do not match the actual GM part number in anyway.

example sellers numbers are also for a 2007 GP >LKQ SKU: tmo - LKQ560
Tire Pressure Sensors FCC Number : kr5s120123007
Tire Pressure Sensors Part Number : m173ep2

    but GM's number is 15921013

so i do not know 100% foresure if these ones being sold are the exact same match.

i guess for my 2007 GP , i need them for when i buy my winter steel rims. i think i was told either it was easier then switching my sensors from my summer aluminium rims to the steel rims and or it could nor be done ??

I thought it used the ABS speed sensors to tell if pressure was correct(differences from wheel to wheel)

I don't know for sure on the GPs, but perhaps the 04+ use pressure sensors. Our 06+ Impalas (which are quite similar to the 04+ GPs in most ways) use actual pressure sensors in the rims.

another seller has these numbers listed for sensors from a 2007 GP, again they do not match the actual GM part number i was given.

Tire Pressure Sensors FCC Number : kr5s123007
Tire Pressure Sensors Part Number : pa66gf30

only thing i notice is that the numbers from seller in the starting post was sensors from a 4 door the other group of numbers in the posted here were from a 2 door.

use tirerack.com for wheels, they know about the TPMS

myself I gave up trying to have the TPMS installed in the rims for my winter tires and will just live with hitting a button on the DIC each time I start the car

I took the rims to kal tire and a GM dearlership, neither could install the sensors, the rims were off of a 2005 boniville

GM or the dealership should of included a extra set of the sensors with the car as the tires it came with are NOT GOOD in the winter

you would think gm would know how to install them. they want me to buy new ones from them for my winter rims. maybe you sensors were not 100% the exact ones . as shown there seems to be different number ones , although they all look the same .how did you come by your sensors ?

I didn't have sensors for the boniville rims, the GM dealership tried to install what they use but couldn't

now I have a different problem
I have a new set of winter Michelin X-Ice Xi2 225/60R16 98T with 16" black steel rims and TPMS
the TPMS does not seem to be working, what does it take to activate it?
