2004 Grand Prix GT. I started my car today and began driving down the road. Only to find that my HUD isn't on. I turned the switch and it was on. I thought maybe somehow it got moved up. It was so I pushed the down button and it didn't move at all. It will not go up or down. The switch is still good because when I press it it puts the edges around the outside like it normally would. I don't have a clue what is going on. Help please!!!!!

So, to clarify, you're seeing the reticles but not the text that should be on the inside?
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

There's a common issue where the spring on the mirror breaks and falls, which renders the HUD unviewable. It's an easy fix but this sounds different. So you get the framing lines on the edges when you press the button to move it but nothing else displays? That would be really peculiar as I would presume any failure would be a signal failure and that would result in the display begin completely dead and not moving. Can you elaborate on the problem?

Try turning the engine, going outside and looking down through the windshield. See if you can see the image on the mirror and see if the mirror hasn't fallen.
