Alright, so I have all the stuff to top swap my l36. However I have been thinking about if it is worth it. The motor has an unknown amount of miles. Could be more or could be less then what the odometer says. So I was thinking about working for a few months and saving and buying a newer (like 00-03) or 04+ car. Anyway, I was wondering if I can put the stuff onto an l26 motor and what I would need different from what I already Have.

The main differences off the top of my noggin are
Drive by wire TB in 04+
Gen V charger instead of Gen III charger
Baro and MAP sensor instead of only a map
And the lim is slightly more open for the Gen V vs the Gen III
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

It will all bolt on but the supercharger is going to require an adapter and I don't believe anyone makes one that will bolt an L26 throttle body onto a Gen V. Plus for what that would cost you could sell the Gen III blower and put the money saved on the non-existent adapter towards a Gen V blower. Modify the lower intake you have any you're good to go.

No. There's no adapter to run the L26 throttle body on the Gen III blower, not so far as I'm aware. Gen V blowers are cheap enough anyhow.

Read his original post. He's wanting to buy a newer car and was asking about an L26 (04+) specifically. I got confused at first too.

you win. apparently im too good to read, i was referencing his signature.

you could make an adapter for the throttle body on the gen3 blower, but like you said it'd be easier to go to a genV setup and use the DBW stuff that's already existing.
