A throttle body spacer doesn't help the 3800 typically. About the only thing it does achieve is a coolant leak over time because it blocks the coolant from the LIM to the TB and the gaskets/spacer etc have enough give that coolant ends up leaking internally.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.

Well if you bothered to read the safely modding your 3800 thread you would have know that because it is explained in there to that exact detail.

Mouthy arent yah... Was just a simple question and it got answered by one person after a dozen of critics. I must of been mislead when I heard this was a user friendly site... Also whats your beef with the mustang? Everyone has their own projects so why be a hater about something? A 500hp 3.8 with a m112 is actually pretty impressive. Complete sleeper considering it looks completely stock.

I'd bet you your entire life savings that car doesn't make 500 RWHP.

Didn't you just say it was on a 3.4" as well?

Cobra Eaton M112 Supercharger 5-6psi, inlet and throttle body, GT take-off exhaust, Focus 310lph fuel pump, Modified 99 Lower intake, Custom Aluminum Upper intake, Cobra 39# fuel injectors, Stock Cobra pulley (3.55"), 90mm Lightning MAF
    ...

    Those mods made 261 RWHP/282 WTQ...and a .15" drop in pulley size make what...275 WHP/300 TQ?

Also...did he build the bottom end? If it is making over 500 RWHP, then it must...because the Ford 3.8 can't handle more than 400-450 RWHP before letting go...according to plenty Ford enthusiasts.

I'm not trying to kick you in the nuts, but man...I'm giving you all of this info to read and learn...and you just choose to ignore it and hope someone holds your hand through the whole process. I understand a couple questions...but you need to look into stuff for yourself as well.

As for the mouthy part...kiddo...you ain't seen anything there yet I also have no beef with any Mustang anywhere, in fact my old man owns a Kona Blue '11 M6 V6 car...with bolt-ons...and I'm sure it makes around 300 RWHP. What I don't care for is outlandish claims and people who get mad when I tell them to go research a little...I'm not stapling your tie to the desk when your asleep and then slapping you...I'm just trying to help; which is the reason why I took a couple weeks out of my own personal time to type up that thread people have linked you...you know...so you can learn too.

    But whatevs, it's your call.

I work so much that I don't have time to do a sh1t ton of research so its easier to just ask and learn from others mistakes and accomplishments.
For the mustang ill get the link and post it so everyone can see it.
Kiddo? Thats an insult, don't be one of those people that talk big because your behind a keyboard, its just annoying.
And yes a 3.4 pulley, he had a 3.2 but it was pulling to much spark and he actually lost power.

    Off to work, good day.

Well, now that you know about all the convenient guides stickied here, you can skip the asking step and save time to work more
But seriously, we're just snarky out of love. We like having some balls to break that aren't Hippo's every now and again. Don't take it personal.

This is true. Or meth. Only way you can possibly gain power with a TB spacer.
