Hello everyone, finally getting around to making my first post...
Okay, I've done some searching here and numerous others places on the net and it sounds like maybe the ignition switch to me. I am wondering what you guys think...
Car starts fine, but occasionally when you turn it off the key won't go all the way to the off position. Key can still be removed though. When you start the car the climate control center flashes intermittently, the DIC more often than not doesn't work at all, if you turn the seat heater on the climate control appears to short out and starts flashing. Occasionally the headlights will actually flicker unless you manually turn them on.
Things I have done:
Pulled the DIC and climate control looking for loose connections/bad grounds. Came up empty.
Traced all wires below dash looking for loose connections/bad grounds. Nothing.
I've read elsewhere that the igntion switch wiring harness is basically crap and can cause all of these problems. Just trying to get a few more opinions. Any help is appreciated.
