I have a 1997 GTP Sedan with ~198k on it. Earlier this week it started throwing a "low oil" light on the dash. I checked the oil level, and it looks fine to me. I'm assuming there is a sensor somewhere that is going bad. Where is it located, and should I check it (how) or just go ahead and replace it?

Similar issue getting a "low coolant" light, especially during hard acceleration while boosting. Same questions as above.

low coolant lights are common on these cars to go bad. it is actually mounted to the radiator. look below the filler neck on the radiator and you should see it. best way to get to it and take it out is by removing the passenger headlight.

low oil sensor i never checked for. usually on the oil pan somewhere. with that many miles it could be bad so if its easy to get to and you wanna tackle it buy a new one and do it.

You need to check your coolant level. It may be low due to a leaking LIM gasket.

The oil level sensor is screwed into the front of the pan (if looking at the motor from the front bumper area). Big 1" or so nut with a 2 wire connection on it. Just remove and replace.
