I have a 02 GTP the passenger seat has 3 bumps right at the seam on the seat bottom. I can press them down but they just pop back up like there is something there pushing them up. It doesn't feel like there is a spring there pushing on them and looking at the foam under the seat I don't see anything out of the ordinary. It looks a little tacky and if I don't do anything with it I think the leather will wear out in those areas.

I have noticed on pictures of other Grand Prixs that others have this same problem.

Has anyone encountered this and is there a fix outside of putting on new leather?

What do you guys think of taking the seat cover off and sewing those areas a little tighter?
