My trans is shifting hard from first to second does that mean it is going to need to be rebuilt soon?
    Thanks for all the help.

Its got fluid in it says its full. Its got 140k but the guy I bought it from said he had it rebuilt at 90k fluid is reddish colored nothing abnormal there. Just kind of wondering at what point you say it time you know. I've never had a transmission problem with any car I've owned i guess I have been fortunate in that aspect.

Also if I take a nice slow start its fine its when it is a little more pedal it hits hard. 80 percent of my driving is high way so for me to be in first to second isn't often.

Lucas Transmission additive really helps with hard shifting. You can find a bottle of it at almost any auto parts store. Dump it in and drive. If it is going to put you way over the full mark, you might want to suck some fluid out first.

I used this because my trans was acting funny, it honestly did help. Car shifts much smoother. I was very impressed with this $12 bottle

I always use lucas on my cars mainly because when i buy them the trans are slipping. Haven't had to replace a trans yet. Except on my caravan but that's because the diff exploded.
