found some ssac headers on cl for 100 and the guy claims they are still in good condition (is spose to send me a pic of em today) so i have been considering purchasing them and was wondering what you guys all thought about the idea? im kinda worried about breaking **** such as bolts while installing them since my car has 181000 on it. then later down the road i was thinking a pulley swap and tune but would this just be asking for my stuff to break?

Header install isn't that hard, I have 2 grand prixs which have headers, One is a set of SLP and the other are SSAC design I bought like 5 years ago when they first came out. The SSAC's will leak if you don't use exhaust compound on the joints, and toss the u clamps in the trash as they are useless. You need the same clamps they use for SLP or TOGs to prevent exhaust leaks. They run about 70 bucks for the set.

$20 fur the set if you get them from Frozenboost.com Exhaust clamps ...they are the 2.25" and 3" ones (two of each) about 1" wide clamps.

Your going to need an O2 extension harness and a new O2 sensor wouldn't hurt anything.

Which bolts..the ones at the catback flange? Just pick up a couple of bolts at any hardware store. The other bolts..say holding the exhaust to the head, you can reuse yours. I've only seen 3 people break them. And I'm feeling that it was user error (like having the wrench at an odd angle)
