    Alright. So about 3 months ago my power steering pump went out and i bared without it for about 2 1/2 months until the pulley broke off of the pump and i had to get it replaced. 4 days after the new one was put on the new pump went completley out. I'm guessing the rack and pinion is ruined from driving w/o the pump functioning.

    Anyway, I am wondering if there is anyway to run a serpentine belt to bypass the Power Steering pump and if so what belt do i need?

    Not that I'm aware of. Thinkin you just need to replace the rack and call it good.

    I'm sure you could but it would be trial and error until you got the right size belt. I wouldn't recommend it though.

    used rack costs under 150.

    your arms are going to get huge if you dont fix that lol
