Like the title says. Does anyone know at what temp Will at overkill has set the knock sensors to work at? When I am at the track I let the car cool way down between runs because it seems to reduce the knock I have. I want to make sure I have some protection from the knock sensors. I am seeing knock toward the top of second gear so I know they are working at least toward the end of the run.

Im seeing around 5-6* when hot lapping and only around 1-2* when i let it cool off. Im only running a 3.6 pulley with headers, rockers, and cold air intake. Im working on a better tune but it looks like it is going to be close. Without pulling lots of timing its not going to get much better.

Has anyone here actually done damage with a 3.6 on there car? Im sure i was knocking more with the stock pulley before the flow mods.

if the coolant temp threshold was not met, you would see 0KR. On some PCMs, the KR enable comes stock at around 170 degrees, so a 180 stat will sometimes hit that.
