gen v and lim both ported
l67 heads rebuilt w #130 valve spring, port and polished
zzp xp cam or intense x1 with rockers
    comp oe-r lifters
    double roller timing chain

    would run a 3.4 pulley
    180 t stat
    down pipe
    catback exhaust

    later down the road
    full ic
    42lb injectors
    using 3.0-2.8 puller

once fully done hoping for close to 450 CHP

again im open to all suggestions and or comments im looking to have a mean machine yet stil can be a daily driver
You won't be close to your 450 chp goal with a supercharged setup. You could maybe squeeze 360-370whp with a tiny pulley, awesome tune, and an extremely healthy port job on the heads.

Why L67 heads and not L32 ones?

You won't need a downpipe it comes with the headers. Including your future mods I think youd be surprised how close in price a turbo kit is compared to what you will spend to obtain your goal.

The l67 heads are what I have laying around....also with 450chp there is a 20% loss in the drivetrain meaning if you have 450 chp u lose 90hp at the wheels and that would be 360whp and I said close so 400-450....I have done some looking around and you can get a full non ic turbo kits for around 2500-3000 like the ones on zzp so I'm gunna dig further....now my question is would you guys suggest getting away from the n/a motors with the higher compression since I'm trying to stay on pump gas.....and if so l36 or l26?

the lower the compression, the more boost you can run.

Not sure why so many are telling him he can't make that power when it's documented that he should be able to do it.

He said XP or S1X with rockers. To me that means he's probably talking about 1.8 rockers. I think this way ....because I've done it. My build from the Bonne was nearly what his plan says with lower compression and he won't have the IC right away. He'll need a lot of supporting items like the trans, etc etc...overall though. It's possible. Todd Allen of Intense had the same basic build (with IC and low compression) dyno'd to 467 CHP IIRC. I did not dyno my car, therefore won't say it had X power.

OP Depending on where you source the parts, you may end up in about the same cost area that you would if you found a nice used turbo kit. If you have some time, I'd suggest watching for both SC and turbo parts. XP works great with a turbo as does an L26 and a bunch of the other parts.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

As it sits now ill be about 2000-2500 for the supercharged set up not hat does not inclued the ic or injectors but I do have a nice source for those items now since this is a dd I'm getting another l26 with low. miles so my car isn't down long so the cost of that is in the total above......in terms of over all reliability and power potential on pump gas I would assume the turbo would be better more so since it can be regulated on demand........so I can tun it down for daily use, but I hear turbo setups are a pain in the ass and that a supercharged setup would be easier

just a thought, but you might wanna drop the DD idea if you're considering building a car like that. i started a build kinda sorta similar to yours... last june. hasn't gone anywhere.

Dont buy a kit. Collecting all the parts yourself would save a few bucks.

That's y I am getting a motor so it can be built while I stil drive it and once both motor and trans are done it can go down for the weekend but I can have it down for up to 2 weks for tuning or adjustments......I would piece a kit together if I couldn't find a good used one fo cheap I'm curious as to what the turbo guys in this forum have found to be a good turbo and or good support mods ie cam or exhaust and so on

would provide input, but i'm not turbo'ed. i can say that you'll want a lot of flow with your head work though. and the specs for a good turbo cam are different than those of a cam designed for supercharged applications, so keep that in mind while shopping.

Don't think it matters for low power levels.

Any cam will do. Mainly you want a cam with good exhaust numbers.

Xp is a great cam for turbo builds. You want exhaust flow to be nice and plentiful. Txslow6 is on rockers right now and made 346 whp. Any cam or rockers will help flow. But exhaust in a forced induction engine is a MUST...

And, a cam (regardless of what stage) is going to extend your power level and make the engine happy as a 3 year old in a candy store.
