GTP's need to run on 91+ octane, because the supercharger and low compression motors.

So just fill with 91 or higher and call it a day.

87 will cause it to detonate if going into boost.

I've run 87 before, but that's when I drove without my S/C belt.

    I'd suggest premium fuel absolutely..
The car will go into the low timing table if it detects enough KR -- Not the most optimal way to go about it but it DOES work..

These cars knock even on 93 bone stock. PM me about a tune if you insist on running regular though once you get your ride back on the road.

91 octane all day. Spend the extra $5ish per fill up for premium fuel if you wanna make your car last

    LOL

I ran 87 on a 3.1 pulley l26 bottom with no KR. AFR in the 10s at wot just like a canned tune.

I would suggest 87 for someone who just drives their Stock car. BUT if you want to drive it hard or think its a race car you should use 92.

My Harley manual calls for high octane (91 or better) as does my GTP manual. A lot more painful in the GP though with a 17 gallon tank.

    Wanna know something?

    Texas is gay.

Everywhere else its .20 to .30 more for 91+, you'd out of your mind to buy gas thats .50 more 91+. and running your tank that low is going to kill the fuel pump faster.

I used to always see a price for regular, +.$10 for midgrade, +.$10 for premium. Now it's always marked way higher.

Sam's club around here often has 93 for .30 more opposed to other stations being more, so I normally buy gas there.

    Lookup canadia prices.

10-20 cents per litre for 39-78 cents per gallon for 7-13 dollars per tank.
