Just got my SSAC Headers in and I plan to put them on during my spring break which is coming up soon. I have a few questions

    1. Do I have to have copper RTV?

    2. Do the exhaust manifold gaskets need RTV?

what he said. Dont use the gaskets that come with the headers, re-use the stock ones they are alot better.

Personally..I don't find RTV necessary for a header install. The guys that answered are well experienced too and I do take their advice and opinions..but never needed RTV.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I never used it either on my install. I used it only in one spot and that was the #1 primary cuz the stud practically fell out of the head. No fight to it at all, just one easy turn.... So I globbed rtv around the flange
