    Did you read the "safely modding your 3800" thread?

    First things wrong, 04+ should not run 160* Tstat (that's even on the product page on ZZP) and 103's are going to be a stage colder than your want for just a 3.4 pulley and a pcm.

    Second thing that's wrong, You're on a 3.4 with just a zzp PCM. ZZP PCMs are known for running lean which creates knock. Where are the supporting mods for the 3.4 pulley?

    Get a wideband! It will help dial in your fuel trims when you get a tuner.

    First off.

    ZZP pcms suck.

    That 3.4 is WAYYYYYY to small of a pulley on a GEN V superhcharger.

    160ยบ is way too cold, bump up to a 180 or back to stock.

    AL 103's are WAY too cold, try some 104's or even 605's.

    If you go to headers with a Intercooler, then MAYBE you can run that 3.4 without KR, maybe............

    Get a tuner or somebody with a tuner to do a custom tune or that thing is gunn blow up.

    I'm suprised its not dead yet with 7* kr and a ZZP tune on a 3.4 gen v.

    you better listen to these guys, i have a 04 comp g that im putting a motor in because i blew the f*ck out of a piston and i had the supporting mods to back them up, I have to agree with fivefingerdeathpunch, 3.4 inch is too small of a pulley for a gen 5, I have a guy that will be adjusting my tune/scaning for kr before i even pull it out of the garage again, im gonna try and get the 3.4 to work because that's what i got but im telling ya get that pulley off there or get ready to buy a new motor.

    KR is something that happens under load, it's not something you can accurately scan for in the garage.

    It's really not that hard guys... This is straight from ZZperformance.com in the listing for their MPS

    04-05 GTP or Comp G & 06 GT supercharged

    3.8 pulley totally stock car

    3.6 pulley Colder Tstat & spark plugs, downpipe, Cold air intake (still could have KR)

    3.4 pulley all of the above plus a VS cam, or SS intercooler

    3.3 pulley 3.4 mods and a XP cam

    3.2 pulley 3.4 mods and a fullsize intercooler or an SS ic and a VS cam.

    Anything smaller than a 3.0 pulley will require a camshaft, headers, intercooler & injectors.

    *Cars with open cone intakes should run one size larger pulley.

    **All recommendations assume 92 octane or higher

    That's a Gen V supercharger. Series 3 motor.

    If it's a natually aspirated block, that could be a small part of your problem as well.

    SERIES 3, Not Gen 3.

    Series = Motor series
    Gen= Supercharger Generation

    I don't know if I agree with the fact that in order to run a 3.4 on a Gen V you need a cam. lol

    04+ Use the Eaton M90 Gen V blower on a Series III (L32) Supercharged engine

    97-03 Use the smaller, less effieicent Eaton M90 Gen 3 blower on a Series II (L67) Supercharged engine.

    For a Gen V, I do. For reference, It would be the same as a 3.2 on a Gen 3.

    I see 9-10lb of boost on my 3.4 with a cam.

    I think a 3.4 on a low compression motor on a Gen V without a cam or IC is possible (depending on tune). High compression no.
