This has been a problem for some time now. Intercooler hoses rubbing on the belt constantly.Cant even zip tie them to anything becuase nothing is available.

I guess i couldnt just flip the i/c core around so the inlet/outlet would be facing the drivers side instaed of the passenger side huh?

And body have any thoughts on this??

Nope, can't flip it around. I ran mine like that for a long time when I had my ZZP core and never really had a problem, but yeah it is a sh*tty place to run them.

Doubt you could do it with the ZZP core but I've got mine run like this now. Maybe it'll be possible if you get some rubber elbows and put on the inlet and outlet.

Yea man I was looking at that and I really dont know what you could do. Im no expert but..

How about super glue? Duct tape?

Super glue isnt a great idea...It will eat the plastic tubing... Neather is a hot glue gun.

Duct tape those suckers down with some high quality tape! 3M?

I routed the one on the front turned 90º and under the spark plug wires. The other I routed back away from the belt and over the fuse panel.

90's are the way to go but i doubt even the best duct tape would hold them with all the heat from the engine

Used it on time on a friends tranny. He liked to off road in his car and riped the speedo cable out one night. Never had a problem with it leaking.

Yeah, defaintly don't run them between the belts, that a failure waiting to happen and many GPers over the years have had that very problem. One of the reasons why I didn't get a ZZP IC for my car, the hose routing. Instead I found a MAP IC core for dirt cheap, sent it to PRJ to be recored and a machine LIM. The results.....

As you can see, the line enters above the crossover pipe, though the core, and exits out beside the alternator, to the fill T and back to the FMHE. Although this is an outdated picture now. I have a custom pressized IC res and the ugly catch can on the MSP is gone for something fancier. I'm in the middle of the make over currently. This setup works PERFECT for my car, its almost as if it was made for it which it pretty much was. There are only 5 or 6 of these units out there customized by PRJ last I heard anyway.

On my other GTP, I ended up putting on an old ILGPC core (Ron Vogels old core actully). The exits on it were like the ZZPs, but I ended up putting on 90 degree AN fittings and running the hoses over the coil packs, above the battery into the fenderwell. Works pretty well for a budget IC setup. I wish I had pics of that setup. It uses a Cobalt SS filler T above the battery.
