All your points comparing to a stock blower are invalid. Why compare it to a m90 when you could make better comparisons to aftermarket superchargers?

Well it's better than the m112 because the m112 is not any more efficient than the GenV. You simply have the option of going to a higher ceiling in terms of MAX hp potential. There's almost ZERO information on someones m90 to m112 gains. You might actually lose horsepower doing that swap.
Whipple... how many people have a whipple setup? How many of those people showed gains from the m90 to the whipple with nothing else done?
How many people have Kenne Belles?

Without causing a big todo, I'll say.....I disagree about power levels on the TVS vs Gen V with heads, IC etc. Been there, done that...following in the footsteps of a car that made equal your current power level. That was 93 octane, no Ethanol to suppress knock. Yes, a lot more parts, but done before the TVS was an option.
BTW guys doing cost. Don't forget TB adapter, wiring, maf change etc. Although no matter how you look at it.. the TVS is good power for the relative money invested without any "credit" for parts replaced. The cooler we can get a supercharger output temps....the better off.
For me, and I assume a lot of people that would be interested in doing this, the cost to build from a stock engine with new parts would be the most beneficial. Then subtract off the mods that you have. That is the best way to gage things. Start with a stock engine L67 and add up the costs to completion. Then compare it to similarly structured prices of other mods.

Congrats on the great numbers on a different setup SnowFlake. When I get my build done, I'll be using an M112. Will have to see how those numbers unfold. With better fuel, hopefully you'll hit the 400whp mark.
For the simple gains I think this is costly but a good thing to look at.
But I want to know how did you get the TVS to mount to the LIM??? Did you just put an adapter plate under it or did you just modify the whole LIM? If there is a plate you could fix a Intercooler between them and probably drop pulley a little more and gain up some more power before opting for better heads. If you just modified the LIM you need to get another LIM and fabricate a plate so you CAN sandwich a Full Stack IC lol
Either way still proud that this worked. Its may or may not be as cost effective as a turbo, but it IS still another option to those past a GenV. Wasn't many options over a GenV so I'm glad it DID work and has potential to be even better. You can't get great things without spending a little money so boohoo it cost a couple grand, most people throw several grand at a engine to get a 150+hp gain.
Yes he used a plate. Which means it should be easy to make an IC plate. Especially easier for that bypass sticking down a little more. Use a solid or reasonably solid piece like the S3 old style WBS IC I had. It would make this a piece of cake.
The TVS swap goes heads up vs a full size IC + ported heads and GenV...
Power - We'll say too close to call, edge to the TVS. However you could still do heads/IC with your TVS ;)

Intercooler cores/pumps can fail is what he's using for reliability factor.

If you want to get technical, not using a blower would be more reliable. Less likely to destroy a piston if you get bad gas.

This is over a full second improvement in ET with just the Whipple supercharger, on the old style Whipple supercharger no less! While we never recommend running a Whipple on a stock car, this shows the true potential of this supercharger. Results will be exponentially more impressive on modified cars.
