Looking at changing out my fuel filter tommorow on my 2000 GTP Supercharged. Before I get to deep into it does anyone know if I need a removal tool to remove the connector on the fuel line from the tank to the filter? PM me if you have any experience with this. Thanks.

PM???? ...no, please read the forum if you'd like help.

Take the correct sized wrenches (I forget the right sizes, probably 16 and 18) and two pair of vice grips. The connector for the plastic line that goes to the tank is just a press together clip and usually can be done by hand. Once you wiggle that line off. Look at the metal line on the other side. If it's super rusty, put the vice grips on both the nuts and turn the filter off instead of turning the nut on the line. If they aren't rusty, use the wrenches and you should be all set.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
