All i can do is laugh at how many issues are starting to occur on the car. Get one thing fixed and three more pop up. I really should take a grenade to it. Anyway this might not be much of an issue but who knows. The car just had an oil change and this is right after the upper/lower gasket replacement. Ive been driving past two days no real issue however last night i got caught in stop and go traffic at the tunnel,so i was braking alot. The oil indicater light kept flickering on then off. Has never done this before. I read in the manual that it may flicker sometimes from hard stops however i wasnt really hitting the brakes hard just stopping quite often. After we got through the traffic no problems and none today. However the other thing that is occuring is the DIC is usually set on fuel range but now when i start the car it is always on oil life percentage and it always flashes a LOW. Ive checked the oil and it shows full. Ive also checked around the gasket repair work for any leaks and none. I had read in the manual that the oil lamp will come on if you are not getting proper oil compression however as i said the oil lamp stopped flickering after the stop and go traffic.

by the oil filter there is a sensor, remove it and screw the pressure gauge into the hole there. you can also use a T fitting and hook both up if you like.

Thanks logan. Yeah so far ive spent about $1500 for various parts and repairs. Most things overall dont bother me and once i find out from others on here with the same issues and solutions it makes me feel better. Although seems like since ive had the upper/lower gaskets done ive got this annoying rattle. But you cant hear the rattle from the engine bay only from inside the car.

Bill the Oil pressure light is the one coming on. I checked oil level anyway and it is full (remember i just had it changed after that upper/lower intake gasket replacement). The oil pressure lamp is doing more of a flicker and is not doing it when the car is moving or even if it is in park or neutral). Right now the light only starts to flicker after the car has been on and running for about and hour and i have the car in drive and foot on brake. As soon as i start driving( or in this case today hopped on the interstate and drove for 15 minutes) no light at all. The other thing i did when the light was flickering because i was in stop and go traffic, I pulled into a store cut car off for like 5 minutes then cut it back on put it in the drive gear with foot on brake(the scenerio thats been giving me the flickering)and got no light after running the car for 5 minutes.

Crap...have the oil pressure tested. Test it warm and in gear if possible.
