    Ummm...FBody intake needs a turndown and once the TB is attached...it's plenty far away from the alt.

    I don't see how I had negligible knowledge in that post, unless you are changing the engine setup, what I said makes sense. The G6 has the air intake on the passenger side, and it has a long intake tube that gets very hot.

    I think ima make a fwi, but in my search for filters i was gonna go spectre and saw this apexi filter test...http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/

    Their filtration pictures show just how bad apexi is at filtering particles out. Notice how there is no dirt on it? must have gone through the filter..

    what size would i get in spectre?? and i beleive your observing the results wrong..The way i took it is the sheet was place behind the filter or w/e and dirt was blown through, and the apexi caught the most? correct? or am i seeing something wrong??
