    I went to the junkyard today and they wouldn't let me pull it myself so some guy did it and he came back with a module that looked different from the one I had. I had told him that it wasn't the right one but he insisted that it was. I figured what the hell there is a 30 day return policy so why not. Is it the wrong part or do I have to modify something to get it to work? My car is a 1999 3.8 non supercharged.

    Mine is on the bottom, the junkyard one is on top.






    Here is the junkyards module in comparison to where my old module fit.

    Undo the bolts on the coils you got from the junkyard and they will be identical, they were just nice enough to toss in the extra parts for you...

    Mainly because it was easier for him to pull it that way. 3 nuts vs 6 bolts.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
