take the sensor to the hardware store and find a nut that fits, that's your thread size.

Take it to where you are buying the tap then find the die that fits it.

I work at hardware part time, we have all sorts of metric fine threaded nuts/bolts (fine and extra fine).
We have the fine taps too. Is there a Do It Best around you?

Well it was worth a shot.
    Any Ace Hardware's?
Fastenal? (If you have one close to you, you'd be sol till Monday morning)

I'd say check Lowe's or Menards or the like, but I'm not sure that they'd have metric fine thread.

dealers not going to have a tap. Take the sensor to a machine shop and they will tell you the thread if you dont have a caliper or mic.
