Brake drag would not let the lugs come loose. It has zero effect on the lug nuts. The only way they will come loose, is if they are not properly tightened.

maybe the vibration caused the lug to come lose? maybe it just broke randomly there 12 years old and rusted, maybe someone losen them in the parking lot i dont know what could have caused it but the were tight and what does X2 mean?

Usually if its the slides, the outer pad will be worn. If its a pressure thing like a hose or a caliper, it'll be the inner pad that's worn. Rotting hose more common that you think. Had it happen on a 2000 mini van I was doing a brake job on. All seemed alright till I took it for a test drive and the left front started smoking. Brake line was keeping pressure on the piston and not letting it retract. Remember its just the seal that retracts these pistons so it doesn't take much pressure to hold them out there.

Brake should have nothing to do with the studs. There's a problem elsewhere for that. perhaps over torqued or something. THat by the way will also cause a rotor to warp. Typical torque on lug nuts is 80 to 100 ft lbs.

If there was enough vibration to cause a lug to come loose from full tight the car would be undrivable. Flat out, period, end of story, the only way the lugs came loose was they were not properly tightened. And X2 means he agrees with me.

Did you replace the wheel bearing or are you just running on 4 lugs? 4 lugs should be fine for a while I ran my old car like that the whole time I had it because it had those stupid locking lug nuts on it.
