I kinda want to buy one of thoes fake s/c fans and see how much different the maf readings are just out of curiosity. (Yes I am very bored)

I bet at low rpms the readings will be slightly higher and high rpms the readings will be the same or slightly lower dues to the "supercharger" (rotfl) restricting the flow of the air.

Check this one out. Not only does it supercharge your engine but it SAVES GAS TOO!

    Go for it.

Although I bet it'll be lower at idle too. A restriction is a restriction.

Popular hot rodding hooked up 2 leaf blowers to an 80's vette and made something like 30 horse and 1 psi boost at low rpm.

A friend of mine put an electric supercharger on his sentra and picked up like 100whp.
    True story. That car moved.

Totally FALSE! Gis does nothing to save gas. It has been tested. Just like the magnetic gasline thing. Don't waste your money.

Nothern jokes got you, Miami guy.

Put a Cobalt M62 on it. I've got one. Would make more power than what you've got. There's a guy here that can get you an adapter plate made too.

Wouldn't they have to spin at over 10k rpms before you would see any benefit? And I bet most of them don't spin much more than 3000 rpms. DC fan motors have a limitation as to how fast they can spin, any faster than that and the bearings would only last a few min.

In regards to those Tornado thingies.....

About 8 years ago, my work was approached to distribute them. We were left with a box of samples, so I threw one in my Super Coupe for chits and giggles. My drive to work is 90% freeway so I get optimal fuel economy, and I keep a spreadsheet of my mileage. After two months of using the Tornado thingy, I noticed a very slight increase in mileage; average about .5 to 1 mpg increase.

I am not saying to run out and buy one, but if one lands in your lap for free, it just could save you a few pennies.
